Answers to Trivia Tuesday

The answers are as follows:

1) Custard apple (I’d never heard of it either but Girl Roomie knew what it was)

2) Rhubarb

3) Peanut

4) Papaya

5) Olive

6) Chestnut

7) Pumpkin

9) Star fruit

10) Tomato

There was HUGE controversy over the answer to number 4, as most teams (including ours) put down ‘pawpaw’. People were yelling at the poor woman who runs the trivia night. In Australia, we tend to use the terms ‘paw paw’ and ‘papaya’ interchangeably. But apparently ‘paw paw’ is a yellow flesh and ‘papaya’ is an orangey colour. And then people were arguing that the picture looked yellow.
